London For The Summer

Summer In London

       I am so excited to explore London this summer! The fact that I can do so and get credits for school is amazing. I am so grateful for this opportunity and cannot wait to get started. 

Choosing to study in London, out of all the places Temple offers study away, was a no-brainer for me. My sister and I have had this dream of living in London for a year, enough to enjoy the city but no too long that we'd miss Mom. As much as I wish she was here to experience this with me I also know that this will be a great chance for me to get to know the city before we take the leap of faith to move here. Plus, with this being my first time out of the country I wanted to be somewhere where at least the language was basically the same.

Living and studying in London I hope to gain a wider understanding of life and the world. As cliché as that is, I truly believe the more you travel and witness other ways of living the better you can understand your own world. I have never left the country so what I know about how other people live is limited to what my television, computer, and phone screen provide me with.
